Edit a user
Authorized users of Powerpay can edit a user's contact information. If you do not have any authorized users remaining, please contact your Customer Support Team for assistance.
To assign a user as a Dayforce Time and Attendance contact, email Dayforce at [email protected].
Tasks

- Open the payroll for which you want to edit a user's information.
- Open the

In the list of users, click the
in the row for the user whose information you want to modify.
The Contact Information section appears on the page.

Edit the information as required.
New users are prompted to verify contact information and provide Personal Verification Questions and answers when they log on to Powerpay
- Click Save.
Note: A valid replacement contact is required if the role of Primary, Distribution, ROE Issuer, ROE Contact or Executive Summary contact is removed.
Note: The user ID field will not change with a surname update. User ID names cannot be modified. The options are to maintain the current user ID or delete the current user and recreate them as a new contact.
