CCQ
The CCQ (Commission de la construction du Québec) is the link between the Quebec legislation and the construction industry. They provide a legal framework and act like the construction labor standard and manages social benefits, pension and insurance, vocational training, labor management and application of the collective agreements in the construction industry.
Information to know if you change from a non-CCQ payroll to a CCQ payroll:
- The payroll frequency for a CCQ payroll is weekly.
Note: CCQ and non-CCQ employees may remain on the same payroll account provided all employees are paid weekly with the same payment date. If not, setting up a separate payroll account will be required.
- Unique codes specific to CCQ earnings and deduction must be set up.
- Dayforce can generate a month end report to assist customers when completing a mandatory online report.

Information to provide Dayforce when you become a CCQ payroll:
- Sector (maximum 2 per payroll account)
- Work title and code (E.g.: electrician = 220)
- Type (companion or apprentice 1-2-3-4-5)
- Employee rate
- Union (name, local and value)
- Work region code
