Employee number changes for new employees

Employee number changes, within the same payroll, can be entered for new employees, until the current run is processed. They are commonly performed to match an employee’s number with their badge number.

Employee numbers can only be changed:

  • to a previously unused number in the payroll
  • in a regular or extra run
  • before the current run is processed

Important: Employee number changes cannot be performed on the first pay of the new year (regular run) or for the first pay of a new payroll. If you require a change for the first pay, contact your Customer Support Team.
