About secure email
To maintain the security of your payroll information, Dayforce uses a Secure Email Solution (SES) called Proofpoint. Proofpoint is an innovative, easy to use encryption tool that allows Dayforce and its customers the ability to receive and initiate secure email communications with just an email account and web browser.
This tool requires very little knowledge to set up or configure for the end user. Customers can access their secure email account from any computer with an Internet connection.
Retention Rules
Proofpoint is a receptacle for delivering secure email; it is not intended to be a storage solution. Data within the system is available for 30 days but not after that period expires. To access an email after the expiry date the email must be resent.
