Modify statutory deduction calculations on an employee's earnings
Tip: You must open a pay period to use this feature / functionality. Click the Pay Period menu and click the Enter button for the pay period you want to work with. The Payroll and Process menus become available.
Use this procedure only if you need to make adjustments to the employee's statutory deductions. You do not need to specify statutory deductions as a regular part of entering payroll data.

How to set up permanent and one time statutory deductions for an employee
Task

- Click the Pay Period menu and click the Enter button for the pay period you want to work with.

Powerpay displays the employee's name, employee number, base rate of pay, home department, and status at the top of the page.
