Delete custom holiday

Note:

This functionality is available to Powerpay People customers using the Time Off Request module. To request this functionality:

  1. Click the Exchange icon in the Powerpay toolbar.

  2. Select Powerpay Products.

  1. Select Powerpay Time Off Requests.

  1. Click Contact Us.

  2. Complete the form and click Send.

    A Dayforce representative will contact you.

Custom holidays cannot be deleted if they have been used in the duration calculation of a time off request (pending or approved).

Before deleting a custom holiday, you must cancel any pending or approved time off requests that overlap with the holiday. After the holiday is deleted, employees can rebook the time off again if they wish.

3. Notify employees with canceled requests to rebook their time off request, and indicate that the date is no longer being offered as a company holiday.
