Change government remittance frequency

CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) or RQ (Revenu Quebec) will notify the customer when a change to their remittance frequency is required. The notification may be sent to Dayforce as well and can occur before the customer receives their notice – particularly if the change is effective for January 1.

Review the Government Remittance Summary with your payroll reports and compare the frequency instructions on file to the notice received from CRA or RQ.

  • If the same, no further action is required.
  • If different:
    1. Email a copy of the notice received from CRA or RQ to one of the following centres:
    2. Your Customer Support Team will validate if Dayforce was notified independently, review your setup and update your setup, if required.
