Create a mass compensation update template

Tasks

After you select criteria for the mass compensation update, you can save the selection and amend the criteria for future use.

Create a mass compensation update template

  1. Click the Pay Period menu and click the Enter button for the pay period you want to work with.
  2. Open the Mass Compensation Update page.Closed From the Payroll menu, select Mass Edit Tools > Mass Compensation Update.
  3. Select the pay types to update.
  4. Select an update method and enter the amount or percentage change for the selected pay type.
  5. Select filter criteria to specify which employees within the selected pay type should be updated.
  6. Click Preview to display the Employee List.
  7. Click Save as Template. The Enter template name dialog opens.
  8. Enter a unique template name. The name can include alphabetic and/or numeric characters only and any of the following special characters: $ % ! + ().,_/\*:=&;" and '.

  9. Click Save.

    If the template is saved successfully, Powerpay displays a Data Saved message.
