Engaging CRA
Dayforce is not permitted to perform certain actions with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). These actions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Transferring employees between CRA business numbers and carrying year-to-date amounts
- Requesting a remittance transfer after funds have been remitted
- Business number changes when it is past the effective date
- Tracing unknown amounts seen on PD7A
Dayforce can assist with some of these tasks provided CRA has a completed AUT-01 Authorize a Representative for Offline Access form on file for each business number impacted. To determine if your situation requires the form, contact your Customer Support Team.
Tasks

Access the AUT-01 form using one of the methods below.
- Complete the online form. The authorization would be immediate.
Pre-requisite: Register for My Business Account, if not already done. To register, click here. - Download and print one form per business number and submit it directly to CRA. Expected processing time would be a minimum of 10 business days. To download, click here.

Step 1 - Insert Business number and Business name. Select Option 2. Insert ‘RP’ as the Program identifier.

Step 2 - Select Option 2. Fill in name of firm as Dayforce and insert telephone number of your Customer Support Team.

Step 3 - Select Option 2 authorization.
