Delete an active garnishment
Warning: Employers can be held liable for failing to make deductions in response to a garnishment order. Ensure you have written confirmation from the issuer that the garnishment is complete before removing a garnishment.
Note: Deleted garnishments cannot be reactivated. If you delete a garnishment in error, you must create a new garnishment.

Delete an active garnishment
- Click the Pay Period menu and click the Enter button for the pay period you want to work with.
- Open the
- Locate the garnishment you want to delete in the Active Garnishment List for an employee, and then click Delete.
- Read the warnings that Powerpay displays.
- If you are sure the garnishment can be deleted, select Yes, and then click Save. The garnishment appears in the Deleted Garnishment List.
