Simulate an Employee in Self Service
Note: Powerpay Self Service must be enabled for your payroll by your Customer Support Team.
Use the Simulation feature to mimic an employee with a Self Service account, including viewing information for the simulated employee. Using this feature, all information is view only.
When an employee is simulated, Self Service opens in a new web page, and the user simulating the employee is automatically logged in without entering login information. However, only one Self Service session may be open at a time.
If the user simulating the employee is already logged into a Self Service session of their own:
-
the user will NOT automatically be logged into Self Service and is presented with two options: Remain and Close.

Click Remain to retain the current session. The simulated session will not open.
- Click Close to terminate the current session
