View, print and save reports
Online Reports let you to view your payroll reports online, even before receiving your payroll package. You can view and download reports that were generated in the last 13 months (provided you have been on Powerpay for that period of time).
The following reports are available:
- Employee Reports - View reports of general employee data, birth dates, remuneration and distribution.
- Payroll Reports - View or print one or more of the reports included in the Standard Reports package, Additional Reports, or ROE Forms for the pay period that you specify
- Year-End Reports - View, print or download reports from Year-end Adjustment runs, Employee Tax Forms and Tax Form runs.
- Import Reports - View or print the Import reports
- Human Resources Reports - View reports on a number of kinds of information about the employees in your company, including emergency contacts, certifications, and training.
- Self Service Reports - View all employee accounts on the payroll and track usage of the Self Service module.
Tasks

From the Reports menu, choose the type of report you want to see.
The page for the selected report opens.

Enter any required report selection criteria, for example, the year the report applies to or the subject of the report. The selection criteria differ for each kind of report.

Click Go.

Click the View button next to the report for the desired pay period.
The reports for that period open in a new window.
- Use Acrobat Reader's navigation controls to scroll through the reports and print the whole set of reports or specific pages.
- To print a report, right-click anywhere in the window, and select Print from the pop-up menu.
- In the Print window, click the Options tab; ensure that Only the selected frame is selected.
- Click Print to send the report to the selected printer.
Note: You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to read documents in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Click here if you do not have it.
Note: Certain reports may take some time to load due to their size. If a report is displayed in the wrong orientation (sideways), you can rotate the page. To do so, in Adobe Reader, from the View menu, select Rotate View > Clockwise or Counterclockwise, or click on the Rotate Clockwise or Rotate Counterclockwise button on the toolbar.

Note: You must also have a utility such as WinZip installed.

Select the year for which to view reports in the Reports for field, and click Go.
The pay periods available for the selected year display in descending order.

Click the Save button next to the Standard Reports Package, Additional Reports or ROE Forms for the desired pay period.
A window opens allowing you to save the compressed payroll report file to disk. Note the file name so you can locate it after saving.
- Browse to select the folder in which to save the file.
- Click Save.
- Navigate to the file and use a utility such as WinZip to unzip it. The report file is in PDF format even though it does not have a .pdf extension.
- Launch Acrobat Reader and open the reports file.
