Enable a user
The Enable User function is only available when more than one user is attached to a payroll. If you do not have more than one user, contact your Service Delivery Team for assistance.
To re-enable a user, they must previously have been granted access to Powerpay. To set up a new user, refer to Add a new Powerpay user.
Note: The enable/disable functionality is payroll specific. To enable or disable a user from multiple payrolls, the process must be completed for each payroll.
Tasks

Log on to the payroll for which to enable the user.

Go to the

Click the
for the User ID to enable. The Contact Information and User Maintenance sections display.

In the User Settings section, click Enabled.

In the Contact Information section, click the appropriate Contact Type(s) for the user if required.
If this is the sole user with access to the payroll, in the Email Messages & Notifications section click Yes Ceridian Canada can use the above email address to contact the user regarding payroll-related issues.
Click Yes, send this user product updates, offers and features by e-mail if this is a user who should receive email from Ceridian regarding product updates.

Review and complete all other sections for this page.
- Click Save. A warning message displays indicating that the user is disabled and no longer has access to the Powerpay payroll.
