The screen allows you to create cycles of deductions and contributions as you wish to have them applied to your payroll. It is organized into a table of vertical columns and horizontal rows.
Once you set up your employees with the permanent values that belong to them for particular deductions and/or contributions and you select a cycle for a payroll run that includes that item, the amount (or calculated amount) will be taken for that employee.
Using the screen below as an example, if a number of your employees have a permanent Donation deduction and you selected Cycle 1 on our first payroll run of the month, Powerpay would automatically deduct the Donation deduction for these employees. Deductions/contributions can also be overridden at the employee-level if required. Refer to the Deductions and Contributions Screen.
