What do I do once I get there?

To Manage Users

Through the User & Contact Management screen, you can change users’ contact information, disable or enable their access to Powerpay, or delete them entirely. 

Since Contacts do not appear on the summary list on this page, it is not possible to edit them directly.  If you wish to change a Contact’s information, please contact Ceridian’s Customer Care team.

Note:  The Enable/Disable and Delete User functions are payroll specific.  That means, if you wish to change a user’s ability to log onto more than one payroll, you must log into each of those payrolls and edit the User on its User & Contact Management screen.

Summary list.
  1. Click the Edit button in the summary list at the right side of the row for the user you wish to edit.
  2. User and Contact Management screen.
    The Contact Information and User Maintenance sections of the screen will appear.
    1. If you want to enter or change contact information, enter the new information into the Contact Information section.
      If you are editing your own information, your Personal Verification Questions and Answers will also display for editing here.
    2. If you want to temporarily disable a user’s ability to log onto Powerpay (e.g. while he or she is on leave), click the Disable radio button in the User Maintenance section. 
      When that person returns, you can grant access again by clicking the Enable radio button.
    3. If you want to revoke a user’s ability to log onto to Powerpay permanently (e.g. upon retirement), click the “Delete this user from this payroll” checkbox.
  3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
