Step 3. Logging On

The Powerpay software uses 128-bit encryption to ensure the security of your payroll data.

For further protection, Powerpay uses a combination of Logon screens that require you to enter company and user identification as well as a password and security image.

Logging on for the First Time

You will receive your initial access instructions in an email entitled “Welcome to Powerpay Web / Bienvenue à Powerpay Web.”  This message will contain a “Reset Password” which will be used only for the first time you log into Powerpay Web.

If you are working on a secure computer that you expect to be using for payroll entry often, you may wish to click on the Remember me on this computer checkbox.

When selected, Powerpay will automatically populate the values for the Company Number and User ID fields every time you access this screen on the same computer.

Note: Different people using the same computer will still have to change their User IDs, and logging into a different payroll will require a new Company Number.
