There are two different ways you can enter hours and earnings through Powerpay:
- If you have completed the Rapid Entry Setup for the type of payroll you are entering (Regular or Extra), you can enter your employees' hours, earnings, deductions, and/or contributions on screens set up specially for easy data entry, called Rapid Entry pages. This is a good choice for most payments.
- If you haven't yet set up the Rapid Entry screen, or want to enter only one employee's payments, or have to enter an exception(s) to a particular employee's payments - use the Detailed Employee Timesheet for that employee.
Since it's most likely that you'll be using both methods on a regular basis (Rapid Entry for most payments and Detailed Timesheets for exceptions), instructions follow for both methods
